Garden Kids
Kids of all ages work to plant and care for their flower garden, create crafts and enjoy God's creation together.
Vacation Bible School -->
VBS is an action packed week each summer for Preschool up to and including 5th Grade. Through hands on Bible stories, skits, music and games kids experience God's word and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Sunday School
Sunday 10:45-11:45 am (September - May) for ages 3 years through 5th grade. Children grow in their faith and friendship with Christ through interactive curriculum, music, games and skits. In an engaging large group/small group format.
Middle School Youth
The Family of Christ Jr. High Youth is a group of 6-8th Grade Students who gather together once a month for a time of Christian fun and fellowship. The events include either a servant event or another activity.
VBS 2018: SHIPWRECKED!
Family of Christ VBS is sailing off to be SHIPWRECKED! (and rescued by Jesus!) August 12-16, 6-8 p.m. Registration is now open for kids and also for VOLUNTEERS! There are two ways to register: at the VBS table in the Narthex, and on-line. Open to kids ages preschool through entering 6th grade. Volunteers Youth to Adult are needed, too!
Confirmation
Confirmation is a comprehensive instruction course for 6-8th Grade Students to teach about faith in God and what we believe as Lutherans. This is a three year program that provides an in depth study of the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism
High School Youth
The Family of Christ Youth Group meets on the first Sunday of every month for food and Bible Study from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the church. We call this event Sunday Night Live!
The group also meets on the third Sunday of every month for either a servant event or activity. These events are usually scheduled through email. If you are interested in joining, then contact Pastor Chad at 313-378-5833.
The Youth Group is working towards attending the LCMS 2019 National Youth Gathering held in Minneapolis, MN. The theme is "Real. Present. God." based on Psalm 46. This is a great opportunity to grow in Christ, Together, and worship God with thousands of youth from around the country and world.
